Story Blossoms Acceptable Use Policy

Story Blossoms is operated by Story Blossoms (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2026/508095/07) (“we”, “us”). Story Blossoms creates personalised, age-appropriate stories for the whole family — with narration and an illustration — set up and supervised by an adult. The stories, narration, and pictures are produced using artificial intelligence (AI). This policy explains how the service may and may not be used. It sits alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Intended use

Story Blossoms is for creating wholesome, family-friendly stories for your household’s personal, non-commercial enjoyment. This applies to every age group, including the all-ages Family mode — even grown-up stories stay clean and wholesome (no mature, sexual, graphic, or otherwise adult content). An adult sets up and controls the account, the age groups, and the content controls.

2. Prohibited uses

You may not use Story Blossoms to attempt to create, request, or obtain:

• any sexual or suggestive content, and absolutely nothing that sexualises, exploits, or endangers a child;
• graphic violence or gore, cruelty, or content intended to frighten or distress;
• hateful, harassing, or discriminatory content targeting any person or group;
• instructions for self-harm, weapons, drugs, or other dangerous or illegal activities;
• content that harasses, defames, or reveals private/personal information about a real person, or that infringes others' intellectual-property rights.

You also may not misuse, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or attempt to bypass the safety controls of the service.

Stories about real people must be respectful and non-defamatory. We may decline or limit requests about living private individuals, and any story about a real person is a fictionalised retelling, not a statement of fact.

3. Moderation and enforcement

Story requests are automatically screened before a story is created, and anything that breaches this policy is blocked and not generated. The service also applies strict, age-appropriate content rules throughout. We may suspend or end access for misuse. Any attempt to create content that sexualises or exploits a child is always blocked, and we may suspend the account and report it to the relevant authorities. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including every request made through it. We keep limited, non-identifying records of blocked requests for safety and to improve our moderation.

4. AI-generated content

Stories, narration, and illustrations are generated automatically by AI — via Google’s Gemini Developer API (currently Gemini 3.5 Flash for the story text, Gemini 2.5 Flash for voice-to-text, Gemini 3.1 Flash TTS for narration, and Imagen 4.0 for pictures) — and provided for entertainment. AI output can occasionally be imperfect, so we encourage you to supervise younger listeners. Report anything that seems wrong by emailing support@storyblossoms.app or via the in-app “Suggestions & bug reports” option.
